If you’ve ever found something amazing on Weidian or Taobao and hit a wall at checkout — that wall is shipping. Chinese marketplaces deliver domestically only. Shopping agents exist to break through it.
The job of an agent
An agent gives you three things:
- A Chinese address. The agent buys the item for you and receives it at their warehouse.
- Eyes in the warehouse. When the item arrives they photograph it — those are the QC (quality-control) photos you see all over this site. You approve or reject before anything ships internationally.
- International logistics. You consolidate everything you bought into one parcel and pick a shipping line. One box, one shipping fee.
What it costs
Three layers, roughly:
- Item price — what the seller charges (the CNY price you see on each row here)
- Service fee — agents charge 0–10% depending on the platform and your membership level
- International shipping — by weight/volume, the biggest variable; consolidation is your friend
How to pick one
There’s no single best agent — fees, shipping lines, QC photo quality and app experience all vary. Our agents page compares the popular ones with sign-up links and FAQs. Pick one, then on any product row use the buy bar at the bottom to open the listing directly on that agent.
The CNBuySheet workflow
Browse the sheet → open a row → check QC photos and variants → hit Buy via your agent → pay on the agent’s site → review warehouse QC photos → consolidate → ship. That’s the whole loop. Read how it works for the detailed version.
